Once we’ve received details of your property, we will seek a valuation from a network of reputable estate agents and then you will receive a provisional offer back to you – usually within 24 hours. If this offer is acceptable, a formal survey of your property will be arranged and once this is completed the offer will be confirmed to you. Once this is agreed, the process of the legal purchase of the property will commence, ensuring that you receive clear timescales. Once the sale is complete, monies will be transferred to you, but we will continue to liaise with you to ensure a smooth transition to your new home. You will even be allowed to remain in your old home for up to 2 weeks after completion, so that the move is as stress-free as possible.

Lakeside Mobile Homes

Tallington Lakes is a unique location. Live and relax beside the water's edge, water ski and wakeboard behind your own boat from the dock at the end of your garden! Tallington Lakes is open all year round and you may occupy your mobile home throughout the entire year.

We always have a comprehensive selection of new and nearly-new mobile homes available for sale - there's something to suit every style and pocket.

Personal viewings can be arranged most days (by appointment please). Once you have decided on the mobile home of your choice we will take you on a tour of the park so you can best decide where you want to reside. Our skilled staff will then prepare, site, test and inspect your new holiday home to ensure it is ready for occupation within a few days of purchase. In no time at all you can be enjoying life by the lakes in your very own home.

Low-cost credit is available, written details can be supplied on request.

Please note that all mobile home transactions must pass through Tallington Lakes. You should also be aware that the licence (fee) for the plot is strictly non-transferable.

Lodge And Home Charges

Annual Plot Licence Fee

Many of the plots at Tallington Lakes are located at the water's edge. The Annual Licence Fee is the same for all of the plots throughout the park.  You may have individual preferences for locations throughout the park and availability for any particular plot should first be discussed with our staff, who will be pleased to assist.

The Annual Plot Licence Fee for the inclusive period April 1st, to March 31st, is:

£2208.71 mobile homes

The annual fee includes all park maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, on-site refuse collection, 24-hour security and free fishing throughout.

Park Visitors

All visitors to the Park will be charged £3 per vehicle at the entrance barrier and provided with an entry ticket.  The £3 value of the entry ticket is exchangeable on the day for any purchase of more than £3, anywhere throughout the Park, including the Bar & Restaurant, Ski Club, Jet Ski Hire Centre, Dry Ski Slope, Pro Shop, etc.

Short-term visitors, (as well as those making deliveries and collections), will be given a timed entry ticket valid for up to one hour.

Park Entry Card

As a mobile home licence holder you will be provided with two electronic entry cards for you and your immediate family. These cards operate the vehicle security barriers when entering and leaving the Park.  These cards contain a number of features to prevent misuse.  Please report any lost cards immediately.  Family passes are available annually.  The cards are not transferable.

We endeavour to keep a good selection of pre-owned mobile homes available for sale.

Mobile Homes To Rent

8We have a selection of 3 and 2 bedroom mobile homes available to rent, with 2 or 3 star ratings. These rental homes are sited along Main Bank or Edelweiss View .

All full weeks are Friday to Friday.  No arrivals please until after 3.00pm and all departures by 10.00am.  Short breaks are Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday.  These are available at two thirds of the weekly price.  Full week bookings are given priority on Bank Holidays.

Services

Gas, electricity and water are all included in the hire charge.

A colour television, fridge, cooker, crockery and cutlery are all provided (3* homes also include a microwave).

You will need to bring all bed linen and towels with you.

Mobile Home Rental Terms

Terms & Conditions

A 50% deposit must be included with the booking form.  The balance will be due 28 days before arrival.  If your booking is within one month, the full fee should be included with your booking form.  No booking will be accepted without payment.

Your booking will be confirmed by post.  We reserve the right to decline or alter any booking.

Please note that we will not accept all-male or all-female parties. A responsible adult must accompany persons under 18.

All units are non smoking, anyone found smoking in the unit will forfeit the damage deposit of £100.00

The company may at its discretion, and without liability, terminate the booking for improper or unreasonable conduct.

A deposit of £100 cash will be taken upon arrival to cover any damage or breakages that occur during your stay.  This will be refunded upon departure after inspection of the mobile home.

Tenants are liable for any damage caused to the mobile home, its contents or the site.

Mobile homes must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure and cannot be occupied before 3pm on the day of arrival. Arrival must be strictly during office hours, unless otherwise pre-arranged.

The speed limit at Tallington Lakes is 5mph.

All bed linen and towels will need to be brought with you.

All other terms and conditions of Tallington Lakes must be adhered to during your stay.

No pets are allowed in our mobile homes.

Please deposit rubbish in bins provided.

Tallington Lakes cannot accept responsibility for any items left in mobile homes.

A day ticket is available for fishing.  A rod licence will be required.

Temporary Registration & Boat Launch Permits are available from Reception.  Proof of insurance will be required, along with a relevant boat driving award (RYA or SBD2).

In the event of an alteration to a booking, there will be an administration charge of £5.

In the event of the cancellation of a booking, the deposit will only be refunded if the mobile home is re-let (subject to a £10 administration charge).
