If you want to ski or wakeboard on clean and calm water, look no further - you have found what we believe is the best location in the UK.

A total of 5 lakes for water skiing, wakeboarding. tube riding and kneeboarding.

Lake 1: Dedicated to tournament and club skiing,and Club lake with a homologated slalom course and ski jump.

Lake 2: Main club wakeboard lake with sliders. It also has a slalom course for club members use during tournaments.

Lake 4: Private boat owners use. 

Lake 5: Private boat owners use. 

Lake 6: Private boat owners use (also has a slalom course).

We allow a maximum of 12 boats to operate on the Lakes at any one time, (including the 2 club boats), and this policy provides everyone with plenty of water.

Daily Launch Fees

Private Lake Hire

Lake 2 may be booked on an hourly basis  (subject to availability). Leisure home owners £30 per hour. 

Minimum hire 1 hour.

All other members £50 per hour.

Trailer Launch & Recovery

We can launch or recover your boat for you, from or to your trailer using our tractor at a charge of £25 (plus VAT) for each operation. Please arrange and pay for your boat launch or recovery at reception.

Boat Types and  Driving Rules

The maximum size boat you may launch at Tallington is 22 feet in length. For safety reasons we much prefer dedicated ski and wakeboard boats, (as opposed to boats with outboard engines). Please carefully study our Boat Driving Rules which will be provided to you at registration. Compliance with the Rules will be strictly enforced.

Lake 3:  Windsurf and Sailing Lake

The Windsurf Lake and Lake 2 are out of bounds to all boats with the exception of licence holders who have obtained prior permisiion in writing. This is to allow for access (at low speeds) for mooring purposes. No unauthorised craft are permitted at any time on Lake 1, (the Club Lake).

Launching is not permitted from the Sailing Centre, only the Main slipway may be used.

Boat Driving Courses

Tallington Lakes is an authorised test centre for the British Water Ski  Federation (BWSF) Ski Boat Driver Award. Full day courses with written and practical tests must be taken. Courses start at 10am and finish at 4pm.

Full day course - £150 per person

Pre exam boat driving lessons are available at an hourly rate of £40.00 half hourly rate of £20.00. A minimum of 2 hours practice is required before the examination. Please contact Reception for more information.

Annual boat winterisation, including all parts & labour costs £190.00 plus VAT.

A boat storage compound will be provided for members use during the summer at no charge.

A separate charge is made for winter storage 1 October to 31 March in the workshop compound.

LPG

LPG, is available from the storage tanks on Lake 2.

Refills cost £55 per tank. Please contact a member of the waterski driving team for service. Payment in advance is required at Reception.
