Group lessons are a fun and sociable way to learn to ski. They have a set criteria and will be conducted to suit the majority of the group. Minimum age 10 years old.
Adults: £25 each including equipment hire
Junior: £20 each including equipment hire
The first session is the most important. This is where you familiarise yourself with the equipment and the basics of skiing. This session is all about gaining balance on your skis through fun, challenging tasks. At the end of this session, you will be able to slide down safely and comfortably with the correct body position.
In this session you will learn how to control your speed and stop. Building on your fundamental skills, from Level 1, you will be taught how to perform a snowplough, learn how to use the lift; get on, go up and get off. By the end of the session, you should be able to use the lift-up to the 2nd exit, successfully perform the snowplough and come to a stop on the slope.
If you are safely controlling your speed, coming to a stop and can confidently use the lift, see Level 2, you can now book onto Level 3. Level 3 is all about turning! After a quick refresh you will be taught how to turn using pressure and rotation. At the end of the session, you will reach the half-way point on the slope controlling your speed and turns down the slope.
Last session you will have been taught how to turn now you will make it to the top of the slope and become a recreational skier. Building on the skills learnt in Level 3 you will continue to progress to the top of the slope. Once you can link turns from the top of the slope, controlling your speed and body position you can come and ski by yourself.
You will now be able to confidently ski using snowplough turns to control your line and speed, see Level 4. The next progression is taking this skiing to parallel to make your skiing more enjoyable and easier. Level 5 will introduce you to plough parallel, meaning your skiing may speed up so you must be confident skiing with pace to be able to complete this level.
The final lesson! You should now be confidently skiing in plough parallel, see Level 5, and in this session you will now introduce parallel turns. You will be taught the J-turn, before linking all your skills together. At the end of this session you should be confidently skiing in parallel.
Please note:
1. Please dress appropriately for the weather but long sleeves, long trousers and gloves must be always worn when on the slope.
2. Always taught to lowest ability in the group
3. Sessions may be cancelled if vacant 48hrs prior to session.
4. Please refer to the terms and conditions page when making a booking.

The first session is 30 minutes and designed to introduce your little one to skiing, and only cost £8 per person including equipment hire. This session will introduce them to the equipment, side stepping, sliding and finding their balance. At the end of this session, they should be able to slide down in a straight line with the correct body position. This is also the session where you can decide to carry on through our Junior Ski School or move to Private Lessons.
By now your little one should be happy sliding in a straight line and familiar with side stepping up the slope. This session will introduce the snowplough, and they will learn to control their speed and stop. At the end of this session, they should be able to get into the snowplough stance and control their speed.
This session will see your little one go onto the main slope and use the lift. They will be taught how to get on, slide up and get off the lift correctly, as well as using their snowplough to slide down and stop on the slope.
By the end of this session your little one will be able to use the lift independently and successfully link a snowplough turn ensuring they are in control.
This session will see them move up the main slope to the halfway point where they will be confidently linking several snowplough turns together using good control of speed and body position.
The final session! This will see your little one reach the top of the slope, controlling their snowplough turns with speed, direction and body position. Successful completion of this session will mean they are now able to recreational ski by themselves or join our tigers snow club where they will develop their skiing and progress into parallel.
