Activities Venture Ltd

Tallington Lakes is a successful leisure park, with a wide range of outdoor activities. We have a Water Ski and Wakeboard School, a Watersports Centre, 120 metre floodlit Dry Ski Slope and a 15m outdoor Climbing Tower. Therefore we are looking for qualified instructors and personnel ; are you interested?

Climbing Instructor

Tallington Lakes are currently looking for Climbing Instructors to join us for the forthcoming 2022 summer season. Instructors should expect to work in a high tempo teaching environment, passionately delivering high quality lessons that are enjoyable to all participants. You will be working with people of all ages and abilities, teaching groups and private lessons. In addition to teaching you will be involved in the additional activities we have on site and the general running and maintenance of facilities.
Work will involve weekday days, evenings and weekend days. You will need to be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, be very approachable and work within a close team environment. Limited on site accommodation is available. Requirements:

  • Climbing wall award (desirable)
  • Climbing experience
  • Relevant first aid qualification
  • Enjoys working with children and adults
  • Excellent customer service
  • High levels of enthusiasm
  • Ability to work within a team

RYA Personal Watercraft Instructor

After a successful summer season, and looking towards summer 2022, Tallington Watersports is looking for an RYA PW Instructor; to work flexible hours from April through to October including weekend work. An RYA PWI qualification is mandatory.
Duties will include:

  • Undertaking sessions from the RYA syllabus including large school groups, kids clubs and private one to one lessons.
  • Assisting and developing junior instructors, and providing staff training sessions.
  • Maintaining all aspects of the Watersports department. Undertaking and assisting with other on site activities, where appropriate.
  • Assisting with the day to day running and maintenance of the Tallington Watersports Centre.
  • Qualifications and experience in other activities are desirable.

The successful candidate must be passionate about Personal Watercrafts and watersports, teaching to all ages and standards, and eager to push our business forward. Whilst furthering their own skills and knowledge within the different activities at Tallington Lakes. Accommodation is available if needed.

RYA Powerboat Instructor

After a successful summer season, and looking towards summer 2022, Tallington Watersports is looking for an RYA PB Instructor; to work flexible hours from April through to October including weekend work. An RYA PBI qualification is mandatory.

  • Assisting and developing junior instructors, and providing staff training sessions.
  • Maintaining all aspects of the Watersports department. Undertaking and assisting with other on site activities, where appropriate.
  • Assisting with the day to day running and maintenance of the Tallington Watersports Centre.
  • Qualifications and experience in other activities are desirable.

After a successful summer season, and looking towards summer 2022, Tallington Water Ski and Wakeboard Schoolis looking for an Water Ski Coach/Driver; to work flexible hours from April through to October including weekend work. An BWSW qualification is mandatory.  Duties will include:

  • Undertaking sessions from the water-ski syllabus including large school groups, kids clubs and private one to one lessons.
  • Assisting and developing junior instructors, and providing staff training sessions. • Maintaining all aspects of the Watersports department.
  • Undertaking and assisting with other on site activities, where appropriate. • Assisting with the day to day running and maintenance of the Tallington Water-ski and Wakeboard Centre.
